  1. Stop Sending on Reply: Enable this to prevent sending follow-up emails once a lead has replied.

  2. Don't Track Opens or Clicks: Recent deliverability challenges suggest avoiding open and click tracking. Stick to plain text to improve your chances of landing in the inbox.

  3. Follow-Up Strategy: Use 100% new leads if you have a large list. For smaller lists, a mix of 50% follow-ups and 50% new leads ensures consistent engagement.

  4. Company-Level Auto Pause: Enable this to stop sending emails to a company if anyone from that company replies. This prevents multiple emails from hitting the same organization.

  5. Enhanced Email Sending and Delivery: Utilize Smart Lead’s advanced features to match emails by provider (e.g., Gmail to Gmail, Outlook to Outlook). This improves deliverability.

  6. AI Categorization: Use Smart Lead’s AI to categorize responses. Suggested categories include Interested, Meeting Request, Not Interested, Wrong Person, and Out of Office. Ignore auto-categorized out-of-office replies as they don’t represent genuine engagement.

Spam Checker and Readability

Before launching your campaign, use Smart Lead’s spam checker. Avoid spam-triggering words like "unsubscribe" and use alternatives like "reply and I'll vanish" to mitigate risks. Keep your emails short and straightforward, avoiding excessive punctuation and all-caps text.
